Christmas Hampers

Christmas Hampers and Gift Boxes with Ham and Iberian Delicacies

The classic that never fails, without the risk of failing: Christmas hampers and gift boxes with ham where each employee decides if they want the whole piece, a shoulder, hand-carved slices, a basket of Iberian products and cured meats for home — or swap it for something they truly fancy.

Ham almost always hits the mark. We remove the 'almost'

The hamper with ham is the king of corporate Christmas gifts, but in every team there's someone who doesn't eat pork, lives alone and doesn't want a whole piece, or would prefer wine and cheese. With Pekata, you set the budget per person and each employee chooses: ham, shoulder, hand-carved slices, a basket of Iberian products and cured meats, or anything else from the catalogue.

Being the king isn't just our impression: in the boxes employees create themselves, charcuterie and Iberian products go from 29% of the value in a €40 box to 70% in a €140 one. When there's room, people go for the good stuff. What we don't know is who, and that's why we prefer each person decides for themselves.

Ham, Shoulder, Sliced or Iberian Basket

What the Employee ChoosesWhat It IsWho It's For
Whole HamThe complete hind leg, in its protective box, for slicing at home. Those who celebrate at home, have space for it, and enjoy slicing.
ShoulderThe front leg: smaller piece, with more bone proportion and more intense flavour.Small kitchens and homes with few diners.
Hand-Carved SlicesThe same product already sliced and vacuum-packed in envelopes. Those who don't want to slice or store an open piece.
Iberian and Cured Meats BasketSliced meats, cured meats, cheese and preserves in a single box. Those who prefer variety over a single piece.

Everything comes from the same budget per person. And no one is obliged to choose ham: those who don't eat pork can swap the entire category for another from the catalogue.

What's Included in a Pekata Ham Hamper

  • Whole pieces from selected drying rooms — ham and shoulder — with their specific protective box for travel.
  • Hand-carved slices, vacuum-packed in envelopes: the same product without having to slice it at home.
  • Baskets of Iberian products and cured meats, and the rest of the Christmas pantry: wine, cheese, preserves, nougat.
  • Delivery to the office or each employee's home, across Europe, with a single invoice for your company.

The Iberian and Cured Meats Basket, Without a Whole Piece

Not everyone wants a whole piece in the kitchen. For many, the Iberian Christmas hamper is the sensible version of the same gift: hand-carved slices, cured meats, and some cheese and preserves, ready to open on the day. It takes up little space, is easy to share, and doesn't require anyone to learn how to slice.

In a campaign with choice, you don't have to decide for them: the same campaign delivers a whole ham to those who want it, a shoulder to those who prefer a manageable piece, and a charcuterie basket to those who have no space for it. And for the rest of the team, there are gourmet hampers, vegan hampers, and halal hampers.

How it arrives and how to store it

  • Whole pieces travel in a specially designed protective box; sliced portions are vacuum-packed in pouches.
  • The ham doesn't go in the fridge: keep it in a cool, dry place away from sunlight, with the cut area covered by its own fat.
  • If some mould appears on the crust, it's part of the natural curing process: just wipe it off with a cloth and a few drops of oil.
  • Each box with a whole piece includes a QR code linking to our step-by-step ham carving guide: the knives, the order of the maza and contramaza, and how to store it between cuts.

How much does a Christmas hamper with ham cost?

Here, you don't buy a fixed-price catalogue hamper: you set the budget per person, and the catalogue adjusts to that amount. As a guide to what people usually choose in each range, and excluding VAT, sliced ham appears between €40 and €70 per person, boxes with a shoulder between €70 and €120, and whole ham or Iberian shoulder above €120. The full ranges are available in corporate Christmas gifts and the campaign cost calculator is at how much does a Christmas hamper cost.

If your average budget doesn't cover a whole piece, there's no need to increase it for the entire team. When the campaign allows, each employee can add their own money and pay the difference by card, without the company managing anything: those who want the whole ham can upgrade, and the rest can use their budget as they prefer.

How It Works

  • Set the budget per employee and share the selection link with your team.
  • Each person chooses their ham hamper or whatever they prefer from the catalogue.
  • We prepare each box and deliver it to wherever each employee has requested.

Frequently asked questions

Is the ham well preserved during delivery?

Yes. Whole pieces travel in a specific protective box and the sliced portions are vacuum-packed in envelopes. All shipments are prepared to arrive in optimal condition, whether at home or the office.

What if someone doesn't want ham?

That's exactly the point of Pekata: no one is obliged. With the same budget, each employee can choose any other product from the catalogue — from a gourmet hamper without pork to technology or an experience.

Can I set a different budget by employee category?

Yes. You can define different budgets by groups (management team, staff, collaborators) within the same campaign, and each group sees their budget already loaded on the portal.

What's the difference between ham and shoulder?

The shoulder, or paleta, is the front leg: a smaller piece with a higher bone-to-meat ratio, so the slices are somewhat smaller. In return, its flavour is often more intense and it fits in any kitchen. It's carved using the same technique as ham and, once started, it's best consumed sooner.

Can I order a basket of Iberian products and charcuterie instead of a whole piece?

Yes. With the same budget, each employee can create a basket of Iberian and cured charcuterie, with vacuum-packed slices, cheese, preserves, and the rest of the Christmas pantry, without taking a whole ham home.

How much does a Christmas hamper with ham cost?

You decide: set the budget per person, and the catalogue adjusts to that amount, so the total cost is exact — budget per person times the team. With the guide ranges we publish, and excluding VAT, sliced ham is in the €40 to €70 range, the shoulder in the €70 to €120 range, and the whole piece above €120.

What if someone wants the whole ham and their budget doesn't cover it?

They can top it up themselves, if your campaign allows: the employee adds their own budget and pays the difference securely by card. Your company pays the budgeted amount and manages nothing else; those who want to upgrade their piece pay the rest.
